Hello Xperts,

I just downloaded the Quest BRT for oracle v.1.0 and successfully installed on my desktop. But when I  tried to register Data Source, it just hang at "Connection To Register" and didn't allow me much choice other than "Cancel". It doesn't seem to work at all.

Do I have to do anything prior to this?

You have errors on this screen that need to be fixed.
The red circle with an x indicates an error.  If you hover the mouse over the red circle, the error message will be displayed. 

The problem is multiple data sources for the same database instance have been selected for registration.   Each data source must have a unique name.  Quest Backup Reporter supplies a default name based on Host name and Instance name, but if there are duplicates they must be addressed by you.
